A fantastic find with a Bohemian flair. Fun, fresh, menu albeit a bit limited. Kayla served the absolute best cocktails this side of Nashville. They were elegant. Live music finished off the delightful experience.
I can't say enough great things about this place! Really cool atmosphere. The rustic vibe and the Southern food made for an amazing time. We sat on the second floor near the stage and were treated to a great performance by Dylan J. (Singer/guitar player) The food was delicious. We asked the bartender to make us a refreshing drink and it was just okay but my friend had an old fashioned that was soooo good. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely go back. The service was on the slower side but we enjoyed that they weren't rushing us because we were enjoying the music. The carrot cake and the banana pudding were the stars of the night!! I'm craving that banana pudding right now!
Cool place! Went for Sunday brunch and they had someone playing live music which I always enjoy. Ordered the Anthym cocktail, chicken & waffles, and French toast. The cocktail was excellent! Made me think of a negroni but with whiskey. The berry jam & cream with French toast were delicious. I really liked the seasoning in the breading for the chicken too. Forgot to take pictures though.
My friend and I had been trying to get to Gray's for months, and today's visit was great. Our reservation was for eleven. We were seated right away. The server was knowledgeable and took our orders. We received our drinks and food in a timely manner. I had the shrimp and grits. The dish had good flavor, shrimp were cooked perfectly. My meal wasn't as hot, temperature wise, as I would have liked. My friend had the quesabirria tacos. She enjoyed them. Her food was hot. Overall, great meal and restaurant
Been on my LONG list of Williamson County restaurants to try...finally had the opportunity last night! We met the (new) owner and he is so kind and hospitable! He spent time talking with our large group and gave us a little history of himself as well. Katie who took care of us, she is spot on with timing and making sure she went over items for all questions we had...seems silly but very impressed with how on top she was with keeping our water glasses full and other beverages flowing without having to flag her down! Now the food and atmosphere...we sat on the second floor, very rustic homey feel. I see there is a stage for music...curious how conversations would struggle to be heard if a band had been playing...but also cannot wait to go back and listen to a band playing! I ordered the curry halibut...Chef you dominated those flavors...the halibut was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My only request on this is...felt the dish could have used a bit more curry sauce. That sauce could be sold on shelves!!! Thank you to all of you for such a great experience!
What a fun, lively evening with southern flare! We made reservations ahead of time and researched when live music would be playing, we reserved a table in the second floor near the stage and it was perfect! Katie provided exceptional service and we enjoyed every bite. The music was great and set the ambience for an enjoyable evening. I only wish there was a solution for the college kid sitting in the middle of the dining room, watching football on his phone and non-stop conversing with his girlfriend at such a loud volume trying to compete with the live music.
Had a light lunch at Gray's on Main recently. The restaurant is currently under new ownership so we wanted to check it out. The Tuna Ceviche was fantastic, I'll be back for that. The Cuban(no picture) was very very good but not what I would consider a true cuban.
Short Ribs were tender and tasty. Menu claimed to be potatoes but it seemed like grits to me. They were good though. The Old Fashioned was nearly perfect. Nice place to unwind but be prepared to pay for the experience.
This place was SO ALIVE!! The food was amazing- I highly recommend the short ribs and the Blackberry salad! Amazing flavors!!! Doug made us feel right at home! We will be back!! Don’t forget to end the night with the cream brûlée!! Sooooo goood!!!
This place was recommended to us and it was a good choice. We were in town for business, and we really liked the vibe. We didn't realize there was going to be live music, so it was a special treat. If you were not expecting to have music while you eat, there was no way to know that prior to sitting down. So you may want to ask before you get seated. The food was delicious, and our server was extremely friendly and efficient. We started with the bacon-wrapped figs and the wedge salad. Both were very good. I had the pork chop, which I would highly recommend. And bf had the short ribs what you said we're excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone in the downtown Franklin area.
